Almost Finished

We have just one more full week in our mission. It’s hard to believe it’s about over. We leave September 9. We spoke in the Fayette Ward sacrament meeting last Sunday, and will speak this Sunday, the 31st, in the Palmyra Ward. Our home ward, Harrison Hills, has invited us to speak on September 21st. Fun!

On the 9th, we’ll drive to Cooperstown, NY. I’ll enjoy the Baseball Hall of Fame one last time while Kathy visits Hyde Hall, an old house on a state park where they give tours. Then we’ll head to Portland, ME to see Kathy’s sisters. Then on to Indiana to visit my brother and mother.

Our next stop will be to stay one night with our friends, the Applegarths. Our movers will deliver our household goods from storage to our new house on the 16th.

That’s the plan. We’ll see how close we come to hitting it.

We’re so comfortable and happy here in Palmyra. But we love Omaha and look forward to our next phase of life.
