We Feel It a Pleasure to Serve Thee

As we sang the closing hymn at church, I had one of those beautiful experiences of elation and gratitude. As we sang the line, “We feel it a pleasure to serve thee...” my emotions overwhelmed me.

   Before finding The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I wanted to know how to serve Jesus Christ. It seemed to me that discipleship was more than attendance.

   Now, for nearly 53 years as a member of His Church I have known how to serve Him and have jumped in with my heart. And our mission is so meaningful and satisfying.

   I love my life and my wife.
